No. PowerLogic P5 is a protection and control relay designed for demanding electrical protection applications. It is intended for project applications involving feeder, transformer, motor, line or voltage protection rather than ordinary control-relay applications.
The P5 range includes P5U20 and P5F30 feeder protection configurations. P5F30 includes directional functionality, while P5U20 provides directional functionality in its LPCT/LPVT version.
P5T30 is the dedicated transformer protection configuration in the PowerLogic P5 range.
Yes. P5M30 is the dedicated motor protection configuration and includes directional functionality.
Yes. Both P5x20 and P5x30 support IEC 61850 Edition 1 and Edition 2.
Yes. Supported protocols include Modbus Ethernet, Modbus Serial, DNP3 Ethernet and DNP3 Serial.
P5x30 configurations support 0 to 6 point arc-flash sensor inputs. Arc-flash protection is an optional protection function depending on the selected configuration.
The P5 supports RSTP and PRP / HSR redundancy protocols. P5x30 also provides support for a second Ethernet or InterRelay connection.
PowerLogic P5 can provide wireless thermal and environmental condition monitoring when connected with compatible PowerLogic TH110 and CL110 wireless sensors.
